Simple Spotless Skin sponsors Simon Cowell’s ‘The You Generation’ channel
Simple Spotless Skin is to become the exclusive UK partner for the newly launched ‘The You Generation’ channel on You Tube – a first of its kind, ground-breaking talent competition.
The sponsorship deal, brokered by Mindshare, will enable Simple to reach its target audience, driving awareness of the brand and its skincare credentials via the channel. The package will include pre-roll style in-stream video ads, including TrueView, as well as in-display banner ads, giving the brand 100% share of voice on the channel.
‘The You Generation’ channel on YouTube is officially launching on Wednesday March 20, 2013 and is the first global online audition channel on YouTube, giving people the chance to show off their extraordinary skills and win a cash prize. The channel was announced by Syco Entertainment Productions and is part of YouTube’s original channel line up.

The sponsorship follows on from a campaign Simple ran last year, Spotlight on Talent. The premise of the campaign was to encourage young people to reach their potential and grow their confidence – a sentiment that resonates well with a brand that is famous for giving people confidence through naturally healthy looking skin.
