Unilever Ireland price reductions
Unilever Ireland is launching a consumer communications campaign to highlight price reductions across its brand portfolio.
During the month of November, consumers will see extensive advertisements in the national press, on billboards, in shopping centres and on transport. This will coincide with a national radio campaign. The entire campaign will highlight price reductions across Unilever brands. Some of the country’s favourite premium brands will feature in the upbeat, celebratory campaign including: Flora, Flora pro activ, Knorr stock cubes, Magnum, Cornetto, Viennetta, Hellmann’s, Dove, Sure, Vaseline, Surf Small & Mighty and Cif sprays.
With 1.3 million Unilever products sold in retail outlets nationwide every day in Ireland and an average price reduction of 11% across 70% of its 900 strong brand portfolio, Unilever Ireland’s price reductions will play a significant part in delivering real value to consumers on premium brands.
Announcing the campaign, Managing Director of Unilever Ireland, Conor Kilduff said: “These are challenging times for everyone. A time when everything is being reassessed and when our consumers are increasingly searching for better value. We are doing all that we can to help our retail customers drive down prices and drive up sales volumes.”
He added: “This is the first time that Unilever Ireland has united brands in one campaign with one message. This represents a significant investment by Unilever Ireland as we support our retailers and consumers.”
Unilever Ireland holds the number one or number two positions in its leading categories, namely: ice cream, tea, soups, sauces, spreads, dressings, laundry, household cleaning, deodorants and skin cleansing.
