Cif expands infinite clean all-in-one solution with anti-bac variants

Cif, Unilever’s iconic cleaning brand, is expanding its successful Infinite Clean line with the launch of two new Anti-Bac variants.

The expansion builds on the original Infinite Clean innovation, developed to respond to evolving shopper needs for an effective, all-in-one cleaning solution that delivers both hygiene and a more enjoyable cleaning experience, without compromising on fragrance or convenience.

Cif has delivered strong value growth of +7%[a] over the past year driven by robust shopper demand, and these latest additions to the Infinite Clean range are expected to accelerate this further by encouraging incremental category growth. Cif Infinite Clean Anti-Bac builds on the brand’s patented probiotic technology, first unveiled with the Infinite Clean launch in 2025, alongside a unique disinfection agent, delivering powerful yet modern cleaning performance.

Developed by Unilever scientists, the probiotic technology uses a bespoke blend of natural “friendly bacteria” that remain dormant until they encounter everyday grime on surfaces. Once activated, the probiotics feed on dirt, including in hard-to-reach areas, helping to deliver a deeper, longer-lasting clean. This science-backed approach is combined with effective anti-bacterial action in the new Anti-Bac variants, which kill 99.9% of bacteria and enveloped viruses on hard surfaces.

The range was developed to meet the needs of shoppers looking for a convenient all-in-one product that effectively kills viruses and bacteria while delivering a pleasant fragrance, with 77% of shoppers saying they are put off by the harsh smells associated with traditional disinfectants.[b] Cif Infinite Clean Anti-Bac bridges this gap by combining powerful germ-killing with fresh, modern scents and everyday convenience.
