Unilever prepares to be quizzed in The Grocer’s first food waste webinar

Industry experts will be quizzed during a free webinar on fighting food waste.

Charlotte Carroll, Director of Sustainable Business at Unilever UK and Ireland will be quizzed alongside top industry experts from retail and charity during a free, 60 minute webinar on fighting food waste.

Hosted by The Grocer and chaired by its editor, Adam Leyland, other panelists include Mark Little, Head of Food Sustainability, Sourcing and Waste Policy at Tesco, Lindsay Bowell, CEO of FareShare UK and Tom Rumboll, Commercial Director at Company Shop. Broadcast on Wednesday 22nd February at 11am, the webinar provides registered viewers with a chance to hear how the participating organisations plan on tackling food waste.

The ‘What can YOU do for food waste?’ webinar builds on The Grocer’s national Waste Not Want Not campaign launched in spring last year. Unilever UK and Ireland was recently confirmed as official sponsors of the campaign which aims to unite industry and encourage government to achieve a greater reduction in food waste and to increase the amount of food redistributed.
