Building our brands and communications means creating and nurturing relationships that can last for generations, developing our products’ personalities and strategies on a global or European level, and translating these strategies into local market contexts using the full marketing mix.

What will I be doing?
You will be constantly deepening the already expert knowledge of our brands and the people who use them. You’ll use this level of insight to help develop our products’ personalities and bring them to life. That could mean working on the launch of a new ice cream, undertaking research on the latest trends in hair care, looking at sponsorship opportunities or planning a digital campaign for one of our brands.

What do we look for?
Creative flair will see you go far, but marketing is commercially focused and demands strong business skills to actually make things happen. It takes a deep sense of logic, ambition, organisational and analytical skills, a head for figures and great instincts.
We look for minimum of a 2.1 degree from any discipline
What will the programme involve?
Over three years you will cover up to three placements.
- During your placements you will get exposure to commercial marketing and have the opportunity to work with iconic brands like Dove, Persil, Sure and Marmite managing brand mixes across all their elements.
- You may also get the chance to work with our brand development teams on strategy, real innovation and advertising development at a global or regional level.
- You will get hands-on exposure to Customer Development (Sales), working in the field to build appreciation for how our sales and merchandising teams bring our products to life on the shelf.
Your rotations could be based at different sites and you will need to be flexible about where you are based during your time on the scheme.
Summer and Industrial Placements
On a summer or industrial placement within marketing, you will carry out just one role during the placement.
