Level 3 Business Administrator Apprenticeship programme

WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?

Unilever Business Administration apprentices provide administrative support to our UK and Global teams in a variety of departments including Marketing, Customer Development (Sales), Human Resources, Procurement, IT and Communications. We are looking for individuals with a real passion for one or more of these areas to join us!

As an apprentice, you’ll receive on-the-job training and experience in an administrative position along with formal training to gain the knowledge and skills you’ll need to support our business operations. You’ll join a team with a dedicated line manager committed to enhancing your career experiences. You’ll be given opportunities to develop the skills aligned to your role and responsibilities to enable you to take control of your career.

The Unilever Digital Marketing Apprenticeship is designed specifically for individuals wishing to take the first steps in a career in digital marketing. For September 2019 we have opportunities in Marketing and also within IT where the teams support our Marketing Technology part of the business.

As an apprentice, you’ll receive on-the-job experience along with formal training to gain the knowledge and skills you’ll need to support our business. The qualification achieved will enable apprentices to develop the capabilities they need to progress in a digital marketing career.

Unilever’s Infrastructure Technician apprentices work as part of Unilever’s IT function and support both internal and external customers enabling them to carry out their role in the most effective way possible.

Unilever’s Junior Content Producer apprentices will create content for a wide range of media including digital and social media and will work as part of our Marketing function. We need someone to get really stuck into the detail of our content – to help us spot opportunities, quickly capitalise on emerging trends, fix any bugs and ensure that our sites are always at the very best that they can be.

Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship programme

WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?

Unilever’s Project Management apprenticeship is designed for individuals wishing to undertake a career as a project professional. Our apprentices support our UK and Global teams and we have vacancies in different functions including Marketing, Human Resources and IT.

As an apprentice, you’ll receive on-the-job experience along with formal training to gain the knowledge and skills you’ll need to support our business. The qualification covers principles of project management, practice of project management, and leadership and delegation. Typical roles include Project Co-ordinator, Project Executive or Project Support Officer.

Level 6 Chartered Manager – Supply Chain Degree Apprenticeship programme

WHAT’S IT ALL ABOUT?

As Chartered Manager Degree apprentice for Supply Chain, we will offer you the opportunity to learn, earn, and get a degree or equivalent qualification, – and without the debt.

You will develop academically and also professionally, through a series of structured placements; and personally, with soft skills training and one-to-one guidance. You’ll be part of a group of FMCG supply chain professionals in a company whose products help millions of people look good, feel good and get more out of life.

The programme consists of three or four placements in our customer service and planning teams. A variety of practical experiences will provide you with specialist skills development like business forecasting and cutting edge systems. You will be working close to our customers, our factories and supply chain hubs in a large diverse team.

As a key business partner working with the UKI sales and marketing functions you will gain broad commercial awareness. We look for apprentices who….

  • Have at least five GCSEs or equivalent at Level 4 or above that include English Language, Maths and Computer Science / ICT or equivalent.
  • Have, or be predicted 3 A levels, including a C in Maths or equivalent, or a Level 3 apprenticeship in a relevant area or equivalent experience.
  • Have a real passion for data.
  • Can work as part of a team, so excellent communication skills and teamwork are essential, as are an ability to organise a varied workload.
  • Contribute their ideas and think for themselves.
  • Are up for a challenge, can use their own initiative to solve problems, and can demonstrate good attention to detail.
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK and also have been a permanent resident of the UK for the last 3 years.

For September 2019, we have opportunities for this programme based in Unilever’s IT and Procurement teams.

Key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Analysing business and technical requirements and selecting appropriate technology solutions
  • Using data modelling techniques and standard database management systems
  • Carrying out risk assessments for IT systems and proposing a resolution to threats
  • Computer and network infrastructure
  • Other skills related to data analysis allowing you to really specialise in this area

Level 6 Digital Marketer Degree Apprenticeship programme

WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?

The Unilever Digital Marketing Apprenticeship is designed specifically for individuals wishing to undertake a career in digital marketing. The programme will equip the learner with the skills required to lead on the creation and execution of a digital marketing strategy. Learners will be expected to recognise and respond to business opportunities and customer requirements through a range of digital channels (such as Social Media, Websites, email) and actively employ content marketing and campaign management principles, and financial and analytical tools, to deliver successful initiatives that meet the needs and aspirations of their organisation.

As a Digital Marketing Degree Apprentice, we will offer you the opportunity to learn, earn, and get a degree – without the debt. You will develop academically, professionally, and personally and be part of a group of FMCG professionals in a company whose products help millions of people look good, feel good and get more out of life within Unilever’s Marketing and Communication functions.

As an apprentice, you’ll receive on-the-job experience along with formal training to gain the knowledge and skills you’ll need to support our business. The qualification achieved will enable apprentices to develop the capabilities they need to progress in a digital marketing career.
