The natural marriage between Carte D’Or and dessert has been unbreakable since 1978 when the first delicious scoop was devoured. Today Carte D’Or’s creative combinations and mouth-watering flavours make it the number-one premium ice cream brand to be enjoyed in the UK.[a]
Our story
Carte D’Or, also known as Cremissimo, began over 40 years ago as a restaurant desserts brand in Paris, proudly served by chefs in the home of gastronomy. That heritage of culinary expertise still sits at the very heart of what we do today. Carte D'Or combines the finest ingredients with decades of knowledge and skill to craft unforgettable desserts, for an unmatched ice cream experience.
The brand started with just five flavours (praline, strawberry, Grand Marnier, coffee, and blackcurrant). Its ice creams and sorbets are now available in a wide variety of flavours and in many countries including Austria, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Switzerland, Turkey, and the UK & Ireland.
For any occasion
In 1990 Carte D'Or was launched in the UK & Ireland. The brand has continued to innovate and bring new flavours to both markets to tempt our taste buds.
The current Carte D'Or range includes classics such as Madagascan Vanilla, Rich Salted Caramel, Indulgent Chocolate, Delightful Strawberry, and Refreshing Mint Choc Chip. The most recent additions to the range include 3 new deluxe flavours: Baileys Vanilla, Tiramisu, and New York Cheesecake. Finally, Carte D'Or introduced its new smaller 200ml Mini Indulgence range, with 3 delectable flavours: Vanilla Caramel Pecan, Eton Mess, and Chocolate Cookie.
Finest ingredients
Taste always comes first with Carte D’Or, having searched the globe to discover some of the finest ingredients to give the ice cream desserts a truly delicious and authentic flavour.
