Mark Bleathman - Vice President Brand Building Personal Care

Mark Bleathman

With a 20 year career to date in the health and beauty industry, Mark joined the board in 2013 as Vice President Brand Building – Personal Care. In his role Mark is responsible for the marketing of Unilever’s four personal care categories – hair, deodorants, skin care and skin cleansing. Within this portfolio are a plethora of brands including TRESemmé, Sure, Vaseline and Radox. Cross-category master brands Dove, Simple and Lynx also come within his remit.

Mark joined Unilever in 2011 as part of the acquisition of beauty and personal care manufacturer Alberto Culver where he worked for seven years, the last role being Commercial Director before assuming the role of Brand Building Director – Hair at Unilever. During his career at Unilever, Alberto Culver and, before this, Wella, Mark has worked in a range of marketing, category management, sales and commercial roles.
