While a good degree is important, we're interested in your skills, experience and aptitudes - the qualities that will help you become an outstanding manager.

FoyerOur competencies

Throughout our selection process we assess candidates against our leadership competencies, so it's worth familiarising yourself with these, and considering how you measure up against each one. Our selection process is rigorous, so if you don't fulfil these criteria it's best to realise this before investing the time in applying.

Global mindset

You try to see the bigger picture and ensure that your goals/plans do not conflict with other plans.  You share best practices.  You seek knowledge and expertise from people outside of your own area which could benefit the final decision making

Real accountability

You deliver on commitments made to others.  You demonstrate a willingness and enthusiasm to take on stretching goals, try new approaches and learn from mistakes.

External orientation

You make specific efforts to understand internal/external customers needs and use this understanding to improve processes.  You network effectively.

Action not debate

You move quickly to implement decisions once they have been made.  You are driven to make continuous business improvement and to simplify processes.

Team alignment

You are very supportive and work co-operatively with people even when you are under pressure.  You actively support the team decisions and challenge team members who don't.

Build superior talent

You seek to work outside your own comfort zone to develop skills and capabilities.  You also provide honest feedback to others whom you work with to help them in their development.

Could it be you?
