Are you eligible?

Most of the projects in the Unilever Community Investment Programme are researched and identified by our in-house community investment team. Therefore we do not normally encourage unsolicited funding applications.

Geographical scope

Support is only given for charitable work undertaken in the United Kingdom. Partnerships with organisations outside the UK are managed by the Unilever office in the country concerned.

Type of organisation & appeal

Unilever provides support to a wide range of charitable organisations, however:

Under no circumstances can support be given to political parties or to organisations with primarily political aims. Unilever makes a declaration to this effect in the Annual Report and Accounts that binds Unilever and all its operating units.

Support is not given to churches or denominational charities. This does not exclude support for charities with a religious connection whose work is ecumenical.

Support is not given to individuals to undertake studies, gap year trips, social work or for any other purposes. This does not exclude requests from educational establishments concerning the creation of scholarships or supporting posts that pass from one individual to another.
