Across the business and across the world, this team drives that efficiency. Which means you’ll gain exposure to the workings of a complex company, across functions. You’ll balance your passion for technology with your business savvy, embracing the incredible variety of this role. You won’t be hidden away programming in a back room. In fact, you don’t even need to have a technical degree, and most of our graduates don’t have one. What you do need is a hunger for efficiency, the ability to understand complex information, and the dedication to push things through the business.

As part of our global IT function, you’ll work to improve operations, give us smarter systems and deliver better results. It’s about working closely with our technical purists, understanding them, and then conveying that understanding to other non-techy colleagues. You’ll take on a variety of projects in a number of placements. You could be finding ways to save CO² by creating state-of-the-art European technology systems. You could be working with digital agencies to keep a major website (like our Magnum ‘Win a Holiday a Day’ competition site) running smoothly. Or, speaking of dessert, you could even find yourself coming up with a new way to store more ice-cream than you can eat in a year – purely through technology, with no manpower required. The variety of projects is endless, but maximizing efficiency is a common thread across every single one. Ultimately, it’ll be up to you to make sure we’re harnessing the power of technology and using it to our best advantage. It’s a challenge that will see you working in cross-functional teams, even internationally.
