Flora and Flora pro.activ

Flora was launched in the UK in 1964 and provides a great-tasting range of nutritious spreads packed full of sunflower goodness* for every family need.

Flora is a great-tasting and nutritious choice for the whole family, packed full of the sunflower goodness*.

It’s fantastic being a mum or dad, but every day brings its own challenges, big and small. That includes making sure there’s enough food in the fridge the whole family likes, that’s good for them, and fits with today’s busy lives.

Flora gives families the great-tasting spread that everyone loves. Whether using it on toast, in packed lunches or when cooking, parents know they can trust Flora to be an everyday family favourite that helps food taste better.

And if you’re a whizz in the kitchen, check out Flora Cuisine. Vernon Kay and his mum Gladys have already given it two big thumbs up. Perfect for frying, roasting and baking, Flora Cuisine has been made especially for cooking and it’s healthier than olive oil too.

Flora has also been working with WRAP the waste reduction body to offer recipes that use leftover ingredients and reduce food waste.

Flora pro.activ

The Flora pro.activ range of products contains plant sterols which are proven to significantly lower cholesterol. Flora pro.activ contains plant sterols. A daily consumption of 1.5 – 2.4g of plant sterols can lower cholesterol by 7-10% in 2 -3 weeks as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle. This can be achieved by either eating three servings from a combination of the Flora pro.activ spreads (one serving is around two teaspoons) or milk (one serving is a glass of milk, 250ml), or with one mini drink (three servings in one). For best results the products should be consumed with foods.

*Sunflower oil naturally contains omega 6. Flora contains omega 3 and 6 which help to maintain normal cholesterol levels. The daily intake needed for maintaining a healthy cholesterol level is 2g of omega 3 (alpha-linolenic acid) and 10g of omega 6 (linoleic acid). Two portions (2x10g) Flora a day contribute a significant amount to this. Enjoy as part of a healthy diet and lifestyle.
